BSACI Membership

The BSACI continues to provide support to clinicians and scientists involved in Allergy in the UK and overseas. Our aim is to provide high quality NHS based allergy service to patients with allergic disease and other disorders of the immune system.

 

To become a member of the Society, please print and complete our membership application form and return it with the relevant subscription fee.

Membership rates and benefits of joining:

Overseas

Members receive the monthly journal ‘Clinical and Experimental Allergy’, the BSACI Newsletter ‘Allergy Update’ and a discount to the BSACI Annual Meeting. 

Full UK

£112

Members receive the same benefits as Overseas Members. 

Associate

Members receive a discount to the BSACI Annual Meeting, and the BSACI Newsletter ‘Allergy Update’, but not the journal ‘Clinical and Experimental Allergy’. 

Junior Member

The benefits include receiving a higher discount to the BSACI Annual Meeting, the monthly journal and newsletters. Junior members are also given preference when applying for BSACI Travel Fellowships. 

 

To qualify you must be under 35 years of age, or a non clinician within 5 years of your last higher degree (eg: PhD,MSc) or a clinical trainee in allergy or clinical

immunology or a related specialty.

  

Allied Health Professionals

Members receive the BSACI Newsletters and preference when applying for Fellowships, as well as higher discount to attend the BSACI Annual Meeting.

Members receive a discount to the BSACI Annual Meeting, and receive the BSACI Newsletter 'Allergy Update'. However members do not receive the BSACI journal 'Clinical and Experimental Allergy'. 

Honorary Members

Members receive the same benefits as Full UK members, including free subscription to the Society. 

 

Members’ Website - All members receive access to the members’ area of the BSACI website. From here members can access the online journal, post questions on the members’ forum, download patient information leaflets onto your Trust headed paper, view guidelines (including eGuidelines) and the latest edition of Allergy Update – the official newsletter of the BSACI and much more.

 

There is also details of how to apply for a travel grant - eligibility requires ratification of members application at the next BSACI Council Meeting beforehand.
