BSACI are looking forward to seeing you at this year’s conference and have taken the below steps to ensure we provide a safe conference for all.
Before you enter the conference centre attendees will be required to show (via the NHS app) they have been double vaccinated more than 14 days prior to attending the conference or proof via text or email of a negative lateral flow test within 48 hours of attending the conference.
Delegates are encouraged to wear face masks (if they so wish) in the public areas of the conference.
We shall encourage all attendees to respect others by maintaining where possible one metre social distance or wearing a face mask, where this is not possible.
There will be one seat spacing in the main auditorium and the breakout rooms.
Touchless hand- sanitisers will be provided and supplemented by hand-held sanitizers where required.
The entire venue will be deep cleaned prior to the BSACI conference with Kora Drymist. This cleaning agent will protect from any contamination for up to 30 days in large areas and delivers 24 hours protection on areas that could come into contact with skin.
We will have perspex screens in the reception area.
The venue ventilation operate at 100% fresh air with no recirculation of air from the conference space.
The cleaning of the toilets will be increased daily and to reduce queues that are gender specific we have the opportunity to change toilets from male to female and visa- versa.
We encourage all attendees to use contactless payments for any catering, including car park.
Digital screens will communicate COVID -19 advice and instructions including further safety signage regarding hand washing.
See you very soon in Harrogate!
