Clinical and Experimental Allergy – The official journal of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (impact factor 5.158) is published by Blackwell Publishing. It strikes an excellent balance between clinical and scientific articles and carries regular reviews and editorials written by leading authorities in their field. Expressions of Interest required for the new Scientific Programme Lead (SPL)
The current Programme Scientific Lead (SPL) term will end in October after the 2020 Annual Meeting, therefore BSACI are looking to appoint a new SPL from the BSACI membership in the spring of 2020 (or thereabouts) to shadow the current SPL in the run up to the 2020 Meeting. Expressions of Interest required for Deputy Scientific Programme Lead (DSPL)
The BSACI are looking to appoint a new Deputy Scientific Programme Lead (DSPL) from its membership. The Deputy role will be required to work with the Scientific Programme Lead (SPL) from after the October 2020 Annual Meeting by remotely attending fortnightly telephone conferences and engage with the activities below for a period of two years until October 2022. The Deputy Scientific Programme Lead (DSPL) would be in a good position to serve as the Scientific Programme Lead for the Annual Meeting held in October 2023 and 2024.
From Oct 2020 in conjunction with the programme planning committee the Deputy would be required to support the SPL in the development of a high quality annual scientific programme and meeting.

Expressions of Interest for Editor of Allergy Update
BSACI are looking for a new Editor of Allergy Update from the BSACI membership to start in the spring of 2020, as the current Editors term in office has come to an end. Allergy Update is the official newsletter of the society and produces two editions each year.
The position of Editor is for two years and during the tenure the post holder will be required to sit on BSACI council which meet three times a year.
The Editor will be responsible for communicating news articles to the membership which are current, relevant and of importance. The Editor will also work closely with the BSACI staff and designers for the publication of the editorial.

Volunteer Required To Help Increase Allergy Awareness Via BSACI Social Media Campaigns
BSACI are looking to appoint a BSACI member to join its annual meeting operations team to enhance BSACIs social media presence by helping us create social media awareness campaigns. Working as part of our conference team (consisting of BSACI members, our agency Medivents and our PR company) we are looking for a member who has an interest in and experience of social media to help BSACI develop social media campaigns by devising tweets that enthuse and reach out to healthcare professionals and a variety of stakeholders who have an interest in Allergy.
