Research Hub - BSACI

Welcome to the Research Hub.

BSACI research hub is a database that provides health professionals, BSACI members, the public (patients) and charities with the latest information on any ongoing basic, clinical and translational studies in Allergy and Clinical Immunology including but not limited to those funded by charities, research councils and NIHR.

BSACI Research

BSACI research priorities are for the prevention, treatment and improved service delivery for allergic disease. BSACI facilitates communication between researchers, both in scientific meetings and through its journal, Clinical and Experimental Allergy.

BSACI encourages research locally via the BSACI annual meeting where each abstract presented is considered for publication in Clinical & Experimental Allergy and published on the BSACI website.* View online full published abstracts from 2017 BSACI Annual Meeting in the Journal of Clinical & Experimental Allergy. These abstracts are freely available.

BSACI collaborates with other organisations such as Asthma UK to access funding opportunities for projects, grants and fellowships. It also works closely with the UK Respiratory Research Collaborative (UKRRC) endorsing research priorities and submitting them for funding.

* From the end of March 2017 BSACI will only be accepting applications for a travel fellowship to attend the BSACI Annual Meeting.
