BSACI Statement on the RCPath Immunology Workforce report

The Royal College of Pathologists has just published the Clinical Immunology Workforce report. This report highlights the significant pressures facing immunology services across the UK. BSACI President Robin Gore and Vice-President for Workforce Lucy Common said:

“The Royal College of Pathologists’ report highlights the very significant pressures on clinical immunology services. Despite these funding and staffing challenges, our clinical immunology colleagues continue to go above and beyond to provide safe, high-quality care for patients. We fully support the call for urgent investment in staffing, training, and resources to address these problems. BSACI are committed to working with key stakeholders including BSI-CIPN, The Royal College of Pathologists, and the National Allergy Strategy Group to implement the recommendations from the report “
