About BSACI

The BSACI began life as a small interest group for allergists but we have grown to become a major force in medicine in the UK with over 1,000 members working across many medical specialities including allergy, immunology and paediatrics, ENT, dermatology and respiratory medicine.

The BSACI’s core aim is to improve allergy care through education, training and research and by developing a range of allergy resources for its members in order to support this, including clinical audits and specialty guidelines and by organising educational meetings.

BSACI’s comprehensive list of UK Allergy services which are provided by BSACI members, is available to access on the public area of the BSACI website.

Our flagship Annual Conference is both a high quality meeting and a forum for discussion amongst the allergy interest groups and provides networking opportunities where new partnerships are formed.

Our membership consists of those who specialise or have a sub-specialty or interest in allergic diseases. BSACI members consist of physicians, basic and clinical scientists, researches, nurses, dietitians and trainees and students and those healthcare professionals who have an interest in the field of allergy.

Representatives from the membership is reflected in the society’s committees and groups which form the structure of BSACI Council, our governing body.
