Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Allergy, University of Bristol

Informal enquiries are welcomed for a new 50%-funded academic post in the newly established centre for applied excellence in skin & allergy research (caesar) at the University of Bristol.

This post will provide up to five years funded post-doctoral training for a clinician with an interest in allergy to support on-going research and to begin to establish themselves as an independent researcher.  The successful applicant will split their time 50:50 between academic work at the University of Bristol, and clinical service commitment. Within the sessions at the University, the main activity will be research although involvement in teaching will also be part of the role. The post-holder will be employed by the University of Bristol, and arrange or hold a separate clinical contract for an appropriate post with an NHS Trust.

For more information or to discuss a potential application for the role, please contact Matthew Ridd ([email protected]), NIHR Research Professor, GP & Professor of Primary Health Care, and Director of caesar, University of Bristol.
