NEW Allergy Guide for the Public - BSACI

NEW Allergy Guide for the Public

The British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI) has launched a new public allergy guide in partnership with Alchemis Communications which connect the healthcare experts with the allergy community. The publication All About Allergy covers essential topics and up to date information for those who are directly affected by allergies. Articles are written by those whose lives are directly impacted by allergies, patient organisations and those working in the field of allergy & clinical immunology.

The BSACI is the national, professional and academic society which represents the specialty of allergy at all levels. BSACI’s aim is to improve the management of allergies and related diseases of the immune system in the United Kingdom, through education, training and research.

BSACI have over 1000 members covering a wide range of disciplines who are qualified in providing allergy expertise making decisions based on scientific evidence for the benefit of patients.

With so much miscommunication and conflicting information about allergies, developing All About Allergy publication as a resource enables BSACI to connect with the allergy community to provide trusted information from experts.

All About Allergy was officially launched in London at the Allergy & Free From Show (21st-22nd June), and covers essential topics such as asthma, eczema, food allergies, and the use of adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs).

Fiona Rayner, BSACI CEO said:

All About Allergy features trusted insights from BSACI members and our partners, aiming to empower patients and caregivers with accurate, up-to-date information, BSACI welcomes the opportunity to contribute our expertise to this publication.

The digital publication is open access at www.allaboutallergy.net and is also available in print in NHS allergy services across the UK.
