NHS England national leadership role in Specialist Commissioning - Spec Paeds Allergy, Immunology & Infectious Disease
The National Clinical Lead will be a credible senior clinical leader in the field of Paeds Allergy, Immunology & Infectious Disease and will provide expert clinical advice and leadership in relation to this service. In particular, the National Clinical Lead will:
- Provide expert clinical advice to inform the planning and commissioning of specialised services
- Be a source of expert clinical advice to local systems and regions as and when they require it
- Support parliamentary accountability and provide ad hoc advice to NHS England in responding to parliamentary enquiries
