Fellows of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI) are distinguished members who have been given the honour to use FBSACI (Fellowship of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology) postnominal. Fellows are recognised BSACI members who have made significant contributions to the society in providing a continuously active role for 20 years or more, helping to shape the society, and the UK allergy & clinical immunology as a speciality within the UK.
Nominees eligible for a Fellows Award are current BSACI members who have at least 20 years of continuous membership. Members must be nominated by a current BSACI member and cannot self-nominate. Please download the guidance notes and nomination form here.

To nominate an individual, please complete a nomination form and email it to [email protected] by Wednesday 31st May 2023. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
Case for nomination:
Please submit a maximum of 500 words outlining why you think the nominee deserves to be awarded a BSACI Fellowship.
Evaluation criteria:
The Trustees will assess nominees for evidence demonstrating significant impact made in allergy and clinical immunology, and a sustained contribution to BSACI.
Examples include (but are not limited to):
a. Efforts that have:
(i) assisted the BSACI as a professional body to achieve its objectives
(ii) made a direct contribution to improving the working lives of professionals in allergy or clinical immunology related fields and their care of patients.
b. Contributions that have helped allergy and clinical immunology departments achieve better outcomes for patients or staff.
c. A personal impact which differs from that of any team or organisation where they work, and where their outputs go beyond those of any role they are employed to play.
Successful Fellows will be presented with this honour at the BSACI Annual Conference in the ‘Celebrating Excellent in Allergy Care & Research’ session. A a short citation will be read and the Fellow will be presented with a pin badge and framed certification. The newly appointed Fellow will be invited as a guest to the President’s dinner the year of being awarded and will be listed on the BSACI website on the Fellows ‘Wall of Honour’. They will also receive free lifelong society membership.
Only one person per year will be granted BSACI Fellow.
