Dr Stephanie Kayode
Dr Stephanie Kayode is a Consultant Allergist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, with extensive experience spanning clinical medicine, digital health innovation, and healthcare technology. As Allergy Innovation Lead at Guy’s and St Thomas’, she has led digital transformation initiatives to improve patient experience, clinical efficiency and accessibility. A recipient of the prestigious NHS Topol Digital Health Fellowship, she led the procurement and implementation of digital patient information screens and the development of animated patient education videos in collaboration with Allergy UK. She also contributed to the Trust-wide implementation of the Epic electronic health record system. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Health Informatics from University College London (UCL) and has undertaken specialist training in software and cloud engineering.
Her experience extends beyond the NHS, having served as Clinical Product Lead for a digital health start-up, supporting the development of a clinical education and collaboration platform used by over 3,000 healthcare professionals. She is also a Trustee of Allergy UK. As Co-Chair of the BSACI Digital Working Group, she brings together clinical expertise, technical knowledge and experience in digital transformation to drive initiatives in digital education, workforce development, digital resources and the safe adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve allergy care.
