The Ethics, Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee (EEDI), originally established as the BSACI Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI) Working Group, was formed in July 2020. It aims to promote an inclusive and equitable culture within the field of allergy and clinical immunology that benefits everyone. EEDI committee members are actively involved in its primary objective of coordinating the advancement of EDI across the BSACI. The EDI Working Group published the first-ever BSACI Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Policy. Some of our other key achievements to date include:

The BSACI Ethics Lead
The BSACI Ethics Lead provides guidance and impartial advice to the BSACI Council and Senior Leadership Team in recognising and resolving ethical issues and potential conflicts that may arise. They advocate on behalf of those who may feel their issues are not being addressed by the society.
